I've dug my official display out of its box for a spaceship project for my son but have been getting non-stop low power warnings.
I suspect I know the answer already but...
Can I power the display with one mains PSU and the Pi from another?
I'm guessing that the ribbon cable has a suitable ground such that I won't need to connect the ground of the display and Pi together.
(One single Offical Raspberry Pi 2.5A PSU is powering the display, a Raspberry Pi 3B+, some LEDs on a HAT, an official keyboard and wireless mouse dongle as well as a USB connected Pico, probably a bit much for one PSU)
