Raspberry Pi OS • How is Pi OS performance with a micro sd card?

Hi.

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a Pi 5 4GB. I want to use it as a desktop running Pi OS (bookworm) and Mate desktop.

I wanted to know what light multitasking if like with a microsd card ie some browsing, pdf reading and vscode usage?
