Hello,
I am looking into making a HAT for a Raspberry Pi 4. I am looking to add a second SD card reader without using external ports or external devices but adding a second USB interface.
My plan is to use the the UART on the Pi, pins 14 & 15
run those lines to a CH330 - UART to USB IC
then run data lines to a GL827 which has a USB interface and deals with the SD card reader.
Is this workable? What are the downfalls of using this method?
TIA
