Hi
I just received a new RPi4B and was installing some software on it when the mouse froze after around 45 mins. I am using a Logitech M185 mouse plus keyboard via a dongle in one of the USB ports. I tried adding a wired mouse but that didn't help so I turned the machine off and on. It worked for about 2 mins then froze again. Checking the internet forums, I thought it might be an issue with overheating so I removed the top of the (official) RPi4 case, powered down and let the RPi cool down for an hour or so. I powered up again and got about 5 mins usage, with even slower response time that my old RPi model B
before everything froze again
. The processor is warm to the touch but is not hot so am not convinced that this is a cooling issue. Am a bit underwhelmed so far so would appreciate any advice on how to get the RPi4 to work for more than 5 mins. Thanks in advance!
