Hi. I have a Pi Zero W on my network acting as a web server. My router assigns it a static IP address.
If I have not accessed it in a while, browser accesses to it time out. Ping says "Destination not reachable". If I repeat the pings ... sometimes dozens of times ... it eventually works and the browser can access it too.
But if I go to another computer on my LAN and try to access the Pi, it still gets "Destination host unreachable".
That suggests to me that the problem is on each PC, not on the router or in the Pi. Maybe the PCs are caching some info that gets periodically purged. I don't understand why it would take dozens of pings to refresh it, though.
Any ideas what I should be looking for?
