for some reason the throughput of forwarded VPN traffic has been effectively halved, and I cannot find out why. The CPU load is not an issue, especially Wireguard barely has little CPU usage.
With the same configuration running for OpenVPN for years, my only guess would be a firmware or Raspbian that introduced this problem. OpenVPN connections used to pass 50Mbit, whereas now they only do 25Mbits. Same for Wireguard.
This is on a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B.
Any help would be appreciated.
