Advanced users • Has anyone ever deployed a reliable BLE Peripheral on a Zero 2?

Hi,

I just thought i would ask a question in 2024 as my searches show post from 2022 (although no doubt i've missed some - apologies in advance).

Has anyone successfully deployed a BLE Peripheral on the Zero 2 W ?

What i mean here is connecting to the Zero 2 via a smartphone app and used their proprietry GATT interface over the course of 100's of connects and weeks of use?

Unforuntately i'm struggling and the information so far is telling me i should give up trying with this hardware.
I'm using the Thermometer example and after selecting connect using a BLE scanner app on my Google Pixel (6a and 7a) I get two (for some reason) requests to pair (also the connection never gets bonded by the smartphone so its asks every time you connect) - and then after 5 seconds the connection drops. I've created my own hack of that with lots of suggestions from ChatGpt and i can get a bit further than that but the connection is just unreliable if it connects at all for a second time.

Anyone had any luck?
