Hi,
I have a Rpi4 that I was using as my home server. I had an NFS share that was used by a NExT machine (Yes from 1990 from Steve Jobs).
It worked fine. I could mount the share on the NExT and work from there.
Now I had the need to change the setup to an RPi5. Now with this one, the NFS client just hangs. I saw on wireshark that the NExT sends an ARP request to the network. I couldn't see the response, but I believe it occured because I then checked the client's ARP table and the IP and MAC address was there. So I don't have a clue why it stopped working. Below are the versions of the OS and NFS servers :
Linux vpnserver 6.1.0-rpi7-rpi-2712 #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 1:6.1.63-1+rpt1 (2023-11-24) aarch64 GNU/Linux
VPN-SERVER : NFS-COMMON, NFS-KERNEL-SERVER 1:2.6.2-4
Linux frankenamiga 5.15.61-v7l+ #1579 SMP Fri Aug 26 11:13:03 BST 2022 armv7l GNU/Linux
FRANKENAMIGA : NFS-COMMON, NFS-KERNEL-SERVER 1:1.3.4-6
no_subtree_check, subtree_check
pi 64 bit now defaults to no_subtree_check, was changed from previous version
Thanks,
Regards
