Hi all,

I've had an issue with my Pico that I could use some help on, if people could be so kind..

I have a programme that blinks some leds for the stairs on detecting motion, which was working well with no issues. I decided I was happy and wanted to test the system so re-named it main.py and re-started the pico disconnected from the PC an nothing happened. Assuming a code problem for some reason I plugged it back into the PC but it doesn't recognise it or detect it any more. Thonny can't see it and if I plug it in with the bootsel pressed, it doesn't show up in windows. I've checked the cable is a good data cable. There are no leds lit on the board either. I've connected it to a pi4 and run rshell but I cannot find it. The info I found said there should be a file in /dev/ that tells me which usb port it's attached to but there is nothing there. Is is possible to kill a pico like this? I've looked into nuking it and renaming the mian.py but cant connect to it so have no idea what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated before I bin it and start again.

Thanks,

Phil
