my code works fine with a normal relay as seen in this diagram

i hate the clicking sound so i got a Solid State relay https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C6M1S3YB. after i installed the SS relay in, it did not work as expected.

when relay turns On, LED light also turns ON as confirmation the circuit is now Closed. BUT when LED light turns Off, the circuit still stay Closed. any idea what i can do to make the circuit return to Open? please help
