I had messed around a bit with vdesktop back in the 20/21 time period, then recently picked it up again.
My first question is "How to exit?". I remember that there was some "magic key sequence" - something like hitting (comma) 5 times or something like that to get out. I thought this was documented somewhere, but I could not find it. I ended up killing the "expect" process from another terminal - which seems to work OK.
Second question is: How does vdesktop compare to just using "chroot"? vdesktop seems to take longer to startup and go, since it runs through all the usual "boot" stuff whereas a chroot is basically immediate. Is there any way to get the fast performance of a simple "chroot" using vdesktop?
