This is curiosity rather than a specific need, but I wondered if it's possible to free up any more memory on a headless Pi 4 ?
I've installed the latest PI OS lite 64 bit, and it shows 106MB used and 7.64GB RAM available at boot.
Adding gpu_mem=16 to config.txt gets me 105MB used and 7.69GB available.
Given that it's headless, and doesn't need video or sound, I'm using ethernet not wifi, are there other things I can uninstall, disable or modify to gain further memory?
A search for such items seems to suggest uninstalling unused programs such as libre office, which isn't relevant - its RAM I'm interested in freeing, not SD or SSD storage space.
thanks!
