Raspberry Pi 400 and 500 • Pi 500 keyboards LEDs

• I have not found any information about the keyboard LEDs on Raspberry Pi 500. Where is the official information about the LEDs?
• Are the LEDs programmable? If so, how?
• Are they controlled by the RP2040 keyboard controller?
• Is each LED an RBG LED or which colors can each LED have?
• Can the RP2040 keyboard controller be reprogrammed by the educated user without opening the computer? (I did find the GitHub site for the keyboard source code, but it was not clear if it could be reprogrammed without opening the computer.)
