Networking and servers • DHCP and zeroconf

Good morning,

I have configured a CM4 as a router and I run a DHCP server on it. I have a client of the router that uses zeroconf and this is creating an issue.

Basically, it takes some time for the network stack to start and for the DHCP server to assign an IP address to all the clients. In the meantime, that particular client is able to connect to another client because of zeroconf. I want to prevent this from happening.

I read some post and I tried adding noipv4ll option to the dhcp.conf file but then the DHCP server no longer assign any IP addresses to any client.

Would anyone know what might be the issue ?

Thank you,
