I'm updating Clawsmail (I updated the OS 2 days ago) as it is a very old version and I'm trying to solve an SSL/TLS complaint on ONE of the two servers (mail.yahoo.com) and NOT the other (mail.comcast.net, which appears to work.)
I'm doing their "very easy" (NOT!) install - there was an earlier package I had to install (forgot what it was) then plodded ahead and got this:
*********************************************************************
Configure: error: Package requirements (gdk-pixbuf-2.0 >= 2.26) were not met:
No package 'gdk-pixbuf-2.0' found
Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.
Alternatively, you may set the environment variables GDK_PIXBUF_CFLAGS
and GDK_PIXBUF_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.
***********************************
I'm kinda at a loss and I've thrown my hands up. Any ideas? Thanks very much in advance . BTW I'm on the RPI4. I don't have these problems on Thunderbird on the Windoze 11 PC.
Thanks.
