I think I know the answer to this but would just like to check.
I have a pi5 and a V3 camera. I set it up on my desk and got it working. I then transferred it to the porch where it will be a security camera. In the new location the cable needed to be extended and I used a cable joiner to join cables.
The camera does not work and I am pretty sure it was because I had the cables crossed over, i.e. at the joiner I had the contacts on different sides.
I have now moved it back to my desk but it still does not work. I assume that the cross over has destroyed the camera, is that correct?
Can anyone confirm please?
Thanks
Mick
