Hi forum,
I try to configure autostart on a Raspberry Pi with the latest 64 bit Desktop Linux installed on it.
I followed the instructions from a project that would start a website in chromium. My goal is that this website starts automatically after a system boot.
The instructions in the project were to run the autostart from home/pi/.config/lxsessions/LPDE-pi/autostart. But there is no user pi in this new operating system. There is a user created though. So I changed pi for the user name. Even with that change the autostart would not work.
Somewhere in this forum I found the suggestion to run the autostart from the etc/…. directory. I deleted the autostart file in the user directory.
Still the desktop starts and it seems nothing is happening during startup.
Any suggestions what I can try to do more?
