Since building 5G modems in the modern age is fairly easy with cheap PCB ethernet boards and 5G M.2 modules, I wanted to see if I could turn my Raspberry Pi into a 5G modem to act as a dual WAN failover in my home network. I have successfully installed the HAT, set up the internet connection via the 5G module, and made both usb0 and eth0 interfaces persistent. I did have to remove modemmanager and network-manager to get minicom to work with the modules. What I would really appreciate help with is either bridging usb0 and eth0 OR forwarding the internet connection on usb0 to eth0 so my home router can receive IP from the RPI. I'm trying to search for documentation on how to perform this, but haven't been able to figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
