I currently use a Pi4 with 64 bit Bullseye. It does everything I need and runs applications that I have written that run fine under X11 but not under Wayland (I understand why).
I am now thinking of getting a Pi5 for the extra speed. I know that I can switch from Wayland to X11. Indeed I have a SD card for my Pi4 with Bookworm on X11 that I test things with.
BUT: Does anyone know how long X11 will be supported on Bookworm and indeed if it will be supported in whatever comes after Bookworm (for the Pi obviously).
