Automation, sensing and robotics • Minecraft Automated Server Backup

I think this is automation but is there a way I can automate backing up my rpi5 hosted minecraft server, and remove old backups automatically?

I don't really want to use a plugin but if I ahve to I will. Server software is paper 1.20.6
