I am new to this camera thingy. Wasn't even aware of all that could be done with a camera using a Raspberry Pi. I am impressed for two reasons its affordable and versatile. Guessing some others can pitch in as well.
So been reading up on the cameras provided by Raspberry and also 3rd party solutions. Impressive. However it took me some time realizing that NoIR means it will be used to take pictures in the dark, meaning it sort of uses IR. Its a bit contracting, but maybe that's a pun intended. Also bought the Official Camera Guide and find it interesting, guessing there will be more available online.
What I would like to know if its possible to install a module NoIR and a regular module on the Pi5 and have it taking pictures using the best camera for the purpose? Basically during daytime the Pi5 uses the regular camera and during the dark hours using NoIR, with two x 4-lane transceivers I am guessing it was one plan by Raspberry? There must be some good examples out there where this has been done?
