Hi. Previously I have created a projects that run under Pi 4. As there is new release of Pi 5, I decided to test it out for 1 unit first. The pi 5 test is good and ok within my 3 hour test. Then I've purchased 20+ units of Pi 5 to test it out. I just duplicate the SD card for the rest of the Pi 5. At the first boot all the Pi 5 is bootable and my application work as expected for all the Pi 5, but some of the Pi 5 just do not boot at all after a few time of reboot ( some Pi 5 is shutdown first then boot it back). Each of the Pi 5 stuck at different situation:

1. The SD card is not recognized by the Pi 5
2. Pi 5 cannot find device tree file bcm2712-rpi-5-b.dtb
3. The Pi 5 stuck at fs_open armstub8-2712.bin not found / incompatible
4. Keep blank screen after welcome page

For scenario 1 and 2, the SD card can be boot with other Pi 5. So should not be SD card corrupted.

For those Pi 5 that have scenario 1 and 2, i tested with new freshly load Debian Bookworm (released 2023-12-05) and test it again, but then the pi is either stuck at welcome page for a long time, then just show a blank black screen

Where for scenario 3, it always stuck into this status, I tried new SD card, latest image etc., which i think i have the same problem as our friend here viewtopic.php?t=363184

For scenario 4, reboot again might allow it to boot up properly.

The service I am using are: VPN, SSH, Predictable network name
Network from USB SIM card wifi module as wired connection
Image is Debian Bookworm (released 2023-12-05) for the first unit during testing, the rest of the SD card was duplicate using raspberry pi SD card copier

Feel free to give any opinion and I will be happy to test it out. Thank you
