Hello,
I had purchased Pi 3B and loaded Ubuntu Mate (UM) 16.04 years ago. It was fast, no problem. My SD card with UM 16.04 is SanDisk Ultra @10 HC I.
I wanted to try UM 22.04 with same brand and specification card. The difference between the cards is only the color. 16.04 is on a top white bottom grey SanDisk card, whereas 22.04 is on all black card.
UM 22.04 is very slow on this card. I thought that it may be too much for Pi 3B so decided to use Raspberry OS based on Bookworm (32-bit) thinking that it would be OK. However this OS is also very slow.
Will I be able to use a modern OS with a faster card or should I just stay with UM 16.04?
Thank you for your time,
