Hi all,
I'm brand new to this and have not even bought any Pis yet, mainly because I'm not 100% sure on what to do.
Right now I'm in the middle of setting up a little internal sandbox network within our existing one. The plan is to leave the existing network alone so that I don't upset the missus and I can also break and play in the sandbox to my heart's delight.
One of the (many) things I want to do is setup 2-4 web servers doing all sorts of things along with a database. I'm not expecting huge amounts of traffic to come to these sites, because it'll just be me interacting with it.
What I don't know, is what kind of Raspberry Pi (or Pis) to get. I'm looking at the 5, with either an SD card or even SSD, but I really don't know if SSD is just going to be overkill. I'm also not sure on the whole cooling front and whether or not I should get a case.
The long term plan is to probably have at least 3 Pis, and I was looking at one of those cluster cases, but I saw they're only compatible with the Raspberry Pi 4.
So, I'm at a bit of a loss and I'm reaching out, asking for help.
What type of setup do you guys think I should with? Any flaws or anything at all I didn't think of?
Sorry if this is a bit wordy, I like to explain myself![Very Happy :D]()
