Prior to last update, a Pi4B that was successfully exporting a graphical interface (Python-TkInter) to an Alma-Linux 8.10 host via ssh -X has stopped working. I noticed the Wayland note after the last update, but expected it would affect GUI sessions on the PI's HDMI port, so I allowed the change. I now know that was a misconception.
I used raspi-config to revert to X11 and rebooted. However, I have lost the ability to continue the same exact X11 sessions I had been using. Note using same Alma-Linux 8.10 host I can establish graphical sessions (ssh -X) to other Pi devices that did not undergo any updates.
It appears that the updates have done more to the Pi than using raspi-config reversion to X11 can undo. X11 broken. Willing to explore other options to get Python's TkInter graphical views to be visible via ssh. Note that end goal is to use available SSH apps from Google Play so that Android tablet can be used in place of the Alma-Linux 8.10 server to view Pi's TkInter app.
